Qi Jing
Biography
I am interested in the theory of the state, comparative political theory (including Chinese political thought and its contemporary relevance, as well as Chinese receptions of Western ideas such as Marxism), democratic theory, international relations theory, and Chinese politics. In my dissertation, I seek to construct a conception of the state that is primarily informed by Chinese experiences and materials, while remaining sensitive to the modern context.
