Biography

My research focuses on intergroup relations, prejudice reduction, discrimination, and political behavior. As a comparativist, I study these topics in multiple contexts, including India, Rwanda, Israel/Palestine, and the United States. My work has been funded by various centers and initiatives throughout UCLA, including the Bedari Kindness Institute, the Initiative to Study Hate, the Luskin Center for History and Policy, and the Nazarian Center for Israel Studies. In addition to my academic scholarship, I have performed short-term research and consulting work for organizations including Evidence in Governance & Politics and the Los Angeles County Anti-Racism, Diversity, and Inclusion Initiative. My work can be found in media outlets such as the Los Angeles Times, and I currently have papers under review at multiple political science journals.
