John Anthony (Jack) Kappelman
Biography
My broad research interests are in representation, political behavior, and public policy in state and local governments in the United States. Much of my research has centered on studying the politics of firearm ownership, ranging from studies of firearm-based violence and suicide, policies to reduce gun violence, and the politics of gun ownership and firearm purchasing behavior.
