Jessica Cobian
Biography
My research focuses on public opinion, survey methodology, political experiments, voter turnout, xenophobia and Latino political behavior. I have over a decade of professional experience in policy analysis and campaign management on immigration, democracy and technology. Prior to attending UCLA, I was a Senior Campaign Manager at the progressive think tank, Center for American Progress in Washington DC. I also worked advocating for immigrants and refugees at the non-profit organizations Sojourners, ACCE and Faith in Action. I have published my research in JAMA Network Open and written opinion editorials for the Voice of San Diego, Univision, La Prensa and Colorlines.
