Grant Baldwin
Biography
I study representation and political institutions in the United States, with a particular focus on state and local politics. My research explores how the rules that govern elections and representation affect who sits in office and what types of policy they pursue. Some of my current projects focus on racial representation in city councils, gerrymandering in state legislatures, and voter behavior in nonpartisan local elections.
