Biography

Brian Esparza Walker is a political theorist specializing in American political theory, European social theory and comparative political theory.
Professor Walker’s principal research focus at the moment is on cross-national analysis of theories of civic responsibility. He has recently completed a manuscript From Confucianism to Cybernetics: Environmental Counterculture and Chinese Cultivation Theory and is currently working on a book based on his class PS 115C Seven Pathways to Citizenship.
