Ryan Guth
Biography
Ryan Guth (they/them) is a graduate student studying American Political Science. Ryan received their BA at UC Berkeley and began graduate school in 2022 at UCLA.
Their research interests include American Institutions, Congressional Rules, Elite Polarization, LGBTQIA+ issues and the Politics of Religion.
Their upcoming paper “The Filibuster Before Green Eggs and Ham” seeks to explain how the filibuster may impact elite polarization using a case study from 1891.
