Biography

Connor Huff is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research focuses on how individual experiences shape conflict participation, battlefield dynamics, and conflict outcomes. He received his PhD in Government from Harvard University in 2019. From 2024 to 2025, he was a Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow at the World Bank in the Global Department for Social Development. From 2022 to 2023, he was a Visiting Fellow in the Program in American Grand Strategy at Duke University. His work is published in leading political science journals, such as the American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, International Organization, and World Politics.
