Biography

I am a current PhD student in political science majoring in international relations and quantitative and methods. My primary research interests include political violence, counterinsurgency, human rights, and international legal organizations. My current work explores the effect of different types of airstrikes on ISIS violence in Iraq and Syria as well as how political relationships influence the asylum adjudication process. Before coming to UCLA, I worked as a federal contractor for a US Department of Treasury small business program. I received a BA with honors in 2022 from Dartmouth College, where I studied government and Middle Eastern studies.
