N Case U Missed April’s “U Heard …” on Waco/OKC
Now available through the UCLA Political Science Youtube channel, a streaming video of April’s “U HEARD IT HERE” program: “20 Years Later—Waco and the Oklahoma City Bombing” at which UCLA Alum Steve Zipperstein, then a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice during the 1993 siege at Waco involing members of the Branch Davidian religious cult and federal law enforcement, and the 20-year anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing (April 19, 2005). Zipperstein, who also served as Counselor to the U.S. Attorney General during 1995 congressional investigations of the events at Waco, is now General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer for Blackberry Ltd.
Zipperstein spoke April 30 at the UCLA CNSI auditorium in a program prepared by UCLA College in conjunction with the department. UCLA Prof. Michael Lofchie moderated.
