I am a PhD student studying political theory. Prior to coming to UCLA, I worked as a research and teaching assistant in the areas of politcal theory and urban politics for three years at UIC while studying political theory, and taught Feminist Theory at Loyola University, Chicago. In my work, I am interested in developing critical reading practices and theoretical analyses that emerge from contemporary events, while maintaining an orientation towards the history of political thought. Much of my research has focused on marginalized and excluded communities.
