Chaplik Professor in Israel and Diaspora Studies  — at the University of Texas, Austin. He is also the founding director of the Institute for Israel Studies at The Schusterman Center for Jewish Studies. His most recent book is: The Triumph of Israel’s Radical Right, published in 2012 by Oxford University Press, and he is currently working on the next, entitled: Military Entrepreneurs and the Evolution of Israel’s Special Operations Forces.
