Biography

I am a Doctoral Candidate in Political Science. I write and teach in international law, international relations, political theory and international legal and political history.

My current work reconsiders the historical development of international criminal law from a critical/postcolonial perspective. My dissertation project – Assessing the Legacies of Empire in International Criminal Law – traces the intertwined histories of international criminal justice and European colonial domination from the 19th century to the present. To learn more about me, please visit my website: www.MackEason.com.
