Fields of Study

Race, Ethnicity and Politics, American Politics, Political Theory

I study American politics specifically as it intersects with race, ethnicity and politics, and political behavior. For my first field paper, I am particularly interested in the detrimental effects of poverty on political participation among racial and ethnic minorities. More broadly, my research interests revolve around racial inequality, political participation, and gender in politics.
